Sporting Activities
Students at The Forest High School enjoy an extensive sports program; participating in combined high school and grade competitions, knock out competitions, and a number of other competitions in addition to representing the school at Zone, Regional and State Carnivals in Athletics, Swimming and Cross Country.
Sport is vital for the physical, emotional and academic development of well rounded students. The diverse opportunities offered at The Forest have ensured that the school is well represented in a variety of sports.
Students not only participate in sport, but they are also given opportunities to act as officials, mentors and sport organisers.
School carnivals are well attended and supported with all three carnivals (Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics) continuing to be outstanding days on the school calendar.
All students are given the opportunity to participate in sport through Years 7 to 12.
